The Poth Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Kennedale Wildcats to 1 in the Pirates non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pirates now possess a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Worth for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. Poth will meet a Bullfrogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX). The Bullfrogs record now stands at 6-22.
The Wildcats (7-15) will now prepare for their game against Brewer (Fort Worth, TX). The Bears enter the non-league game with a 12-3 record. In their last game, Brewer was nudged by Cleburne (Cleburne, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
