With the win, Lyford betters its record to 7-7 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Robstown (Robstown, TX) to face the Cottonpickers in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 26. The Cottonpickers go into the outing with a record of 1-4.
The Brahmas now sport a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Carroll for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 29. King will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Cigarroa (Laredo, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 3-6.
