In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Lakota East Thunderhawks volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Turpin Spartans.

The Thunderhawks (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against St. Ursula Academy (Cincinnati, OH). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, St. Ursula Academy nudged Mason (Mason, OH), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
