Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Marathon over Thorp

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Marathon Red Raiders (Marathon, WI) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Thorp Cardinals (Thorp, WI), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Red Raiders battle the Ladysmith Lumberjacks (Ladysmith, WI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 29. Marathon will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Lumberjacks go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau (Galesville, WI).

With the loss, Thorp moves to 1-3 on the year. The Cardinals host Prentice (Prentice, WI) to battle the Buccaneers in a non-league contest on Thursday, August 31. The Buccaneers go into the contest with a record of 9-1. Prentice won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Mercer (Mercer, WI)
