The Maud Cardinals volleyball team (Maud, TX), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Rivercrest Rebels (Bogata, TX)
The Rebels (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Detroit (Detroit, TX). The Eagles enter the 2A Region III District 17 challenge with a 18-3 record. In their last challenge, Detroit nipped Avery (Avery, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
