Texas High School Volleyball - Odessa over Mayde Creek

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX) and the host Mayde Creek Rams (Houston, TX), saw Odessa's volleyball squad beat Mayde Creek by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Odessa upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Bronchos travel to Giddings (Giddings, TX) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 6-16.

The Rams now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Paetow for a 6A Region III District 19 bout on Tuesday, August 29. Mayde Creek will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Sterling (Baytown, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-10.
