The Montgomery County Indians volleyball team (Mt. Sterling, KY), went down 3-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY)

The Spartans (10-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Rowan County went down by Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians encounter the Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 26. Montgomery County will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Garrard County (Lancaster, KY).
