Indiana High School Volleyball - Mt. Vernon over South Spencer

August 26, 2023: Mt. Vernon, IN 47620

Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting South Spencer Rebels (Rockport, IN), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Boonville Pioneers (Boonville, IN) in a Pocket match, on Tuesday, August 29. Mt. Vernon will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Pioneers come into the match with a 3-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Southridge (Huntingburg, IN).

With the loss, South Spencer drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN) to battle the Jeeps in a non-league match on Monday, August 28. The Jeeps come into the match with a record of 2-5. Northeast Dubois won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against White River Valley (Switz City, IN)
