The Plainview Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host New Hope Indians to 1 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bears now have a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Geraldine for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. Plainview will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Danville (Danville, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.

The Indians (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Scottsboro (Scottsboro, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Scottsboro was nudged by Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL), 3-0, in a non-league game.
