The Wilmington Wildcats held off the visiting Oak Forest Bengals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morris for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Wilmington will confront a Redskins team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pontiac (Pontiac, IL). The Redskins record now stands at 2-0.

The Bengals (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Celtics enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Providence Catholic was nudged by Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
