Texas High School Volleyball - Pearland over Southlake Carroll

The Pearland Oilers (Pearland, TX) volleyball overcame the visiting Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Pearland upgrades its record to 19-8 on the year. The Oilers host Clear Falls (League City, TX) to face the Knights in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 29. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 8-12. Clear Falls lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Friendswood (Friendswood, TX)

The Dragons now own a 14-10 record. They play next when they travel to Plano West for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 29. Southlake Carroll will face a Wolves squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 13-2.
