Georgia High School Volleyball - Valdosta tips Pierce County

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Valdosta Wildcats (Valdosta, GA) and the host Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA), saw Valdosta's volleyball squad nip Pierce County by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Valdosta upgrades its record to 10-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Tattnall County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA)

The Bears now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Savannah Country Day for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. Pierce County will play a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Hornets record now stands at 7-3.
