The Tonopah Muckers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Sandy Valley Sidewinders to 0 in the Muckers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Muckers now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eureka for a non-league game on Friday, September 1. Tonopah will meet a Vandals team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Smith Valley (Smith, NV). The Vandals record now stands at 5-7.
The Sidewinders (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Pahrump Valley (Pahrump, NV). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Pahrump Valley dropped by McDermitt (McDermitt, NV), 2-0, in a non-league game.
