Texas High School Volleyball - Vandegrift edged by St. Stephen's Episcopal

The St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Vandegrift Vipers to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.

The Spartans now have a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clark for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. St. Stephen's Episcopal will confront a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 14-11.

The Vipers (11-16) will now prepare for their game against Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX). The Timberwolves enter the non-league game with a 18-11 record. In their last game, Cedar Park held off Plano (Plano, TX), 2-1, in a non-league game.
