With the win, Freeman improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Mavericks travel to J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA) to encounter the Tigers in a Colonial battle on Tuesday, August 27. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Royals now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to L.C. Bird for a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 28.
