Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Leesville Road Pride (Raleigh, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Wakefield improves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Franklinton (Franklinton, NC) to face the Rams in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. The Rams go into the test with a record of 1-4.

The Pride now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. Leesville Road will face a Huskies squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 5-2.
