In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Falls Lake Firebirds soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Triangle Math & Science Tigers.
The Firebirds (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Excelsior Classical Academy (Durham, NC). The Flying Lions go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Excelsior Classical Academy got by Louisburg (Louisburg, NC), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A outing, on Wednesday, August 28. Triangle Math & Science will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Lions go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Central Carolina Academy (Sanford, NC).
