With the triumph, Ohio County advances its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Meade County (Brandenburg, KY) to clash with the Green Waves in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Green Waves come into the test with a record of 1-3.

The Tigers now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Henderson County for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. Hopkinsville will clash with a Colonels team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Oldham County (Buckner, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 2-2.
