In Monday's non-league test, the Sterling Tigers (Sterling, OK) softball squad got by the visiting Apache Warriors (Apache, OK), by a tally of 8-7.

Next, the Tigers meet the Fletcher Wildcats (Fletcher, OK) in a Class A test, on Tuesday, August 27. Sterling will attempt to advance on its 11-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 7-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Union City (Union City, OK).

The Warriors (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Hollis (Hollis, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, Hollis was nudged by Apache (Apache, OK), 14-5, in a non-league test.
