The Spartans now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Briarwood Academy for a GIAA Class A & AA District 4 outing on Tuesday, August 27. Edmund Burke Academy will encounter a Buccaneers team coming off a 11-4 league loss to Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Georgia School for Innovation & Classics moves to 1-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to Westside (Augusta, GA) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 28. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 0-3.
