The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs (Winder, GA) and the visiting Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA), observed Winder-Barrow's softball team prevail over Flowery Branch by a tally of 10-2.

The Bulldoggs (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA). The Raiders go into the 5A Region 8 bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Habersham Central was routed by Apalachee (Winder, GA), 2-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA) in a 4A Region 8 bout, on Thursday, August 29. Flowery Branch will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 16-1 league loss to Eastside (Covington, GA).
