In Monday's non-league test, the Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host St. Vincent's Saints (Savannah, GA), by a tally of 20-4.
Next, the Sharks clash with the Liberty County Panthers (Hinesville, GA) in a 3A Region 3 test, on Tuesday, August 27. Islands will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 2-4 record after their 6-3 league loss to Jenkins (Savannah, GA).
The Saints (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Vidalia (Vidalia, GA). The Indians go into the 1A D-I Region 3 test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Vidalia was routed by Toombs County (Lyons, GA), 15-3, in a league test.
