The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA) and the visiting KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors (Atlanta, GA), observed Midtown's softball team notch a victory over KIPP Atlanta Collegiate by a tally of 18-2.
The Knights (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against Forest Park (Forest Park, GA). The Panthers go into the 4A Region 4 bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Forest Park gained a win over Drew (Riverdale, GA), 1-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Riverdale Raiders (Riverdale, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, August 28. KIPP Atlanta Collegiate will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record.
