Preston Pirates (Preston, OK) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Stroud Tigers (Stroud, OK), 9-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Preston upgrades its record to 9-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to Eufaula (Eufaula, OK) to play the Ironheads in a non-league game on Thursday, August 29. The Ironheads enter the game with a record of 11-0. Eufaula won 11-0 in their recent league game against Heavener (Heavener, OK)

The Tigers now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Stratford for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 27.
