Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY) and the visiting Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY), observed Bishop Brossart's volleyball team top Pendleton County by a tally of 3-0.

The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Grant County was beaten by Villa Madonna (Covington, KY), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY) in a District 38 contest, on Tuesday, August 27. Pendleton County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Thorobreds enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Larue County (Hodgenville, KY).
