Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - North Star over Ligonier Valley

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA) and the visiting Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA), observed North Star's volleyball team top Ligonier Valley by a tally of 3-0.

The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Shade (Cairnbrook, PA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Shade beat Rockwood (Rockwood, PA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Rams meet the Derry Trojans (Derry, PA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, August 28. Ligonier Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
