Rockford Christian Royal Lions (Rockford, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Pecatonica Indians (Pecatonica, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Rockford Christian improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Royal Lions host Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL) to face the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27. The Hurricanes go into the test with a record of 0-1. Marian Central Catholic lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL)

The Indians now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marengo for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31.
