Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Centreville was beaten by Herndon (Herndon, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Westfield will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Bruins go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to Fairfax (Fairfax, VA).
