The Andrew Thunderbolts flag football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Plainfield East Bengals to 14 in the Thunderbolts non-league victory on Tuesday.

In their next game, the Thunderbolts face the Mother McAuley Mighty Macs (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Andrew will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Mighty Macs enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 25-16 non-league loss to Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL).

The Bengals (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen enter the challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Joliet Central was edged by Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL), 60-7, in a non-league challenge.
