Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA) followers went home pleased Tuesday as they saw their flag football team gain a win over the visiting Cajon Cowboys (San Bernardino, CA), 43-19 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Mater Dei advances its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to Beckman (Irvine, CA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league match on Wednesday, August 27. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 5-2. Beckman lost 46-7 in their recent non-league match against Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA)

Coming up next, the Cowboys confront the Yucaipa Thunderbirds (Yucaipa, CA) in a battle, on Tuesday, September 2. Cajon will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Hemet (Hemet, CA).
