California High School Flag Football - Ramona nips Citrus Valley

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Ramona Rams (Riverside, CA) and the host Citrus Valley Blackhawks (Redlands, CA), witnessed Ramona's flag football squad edge Citrus Valley by a tally of 2-0.

The Rams (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Santa Monica was tipped by Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA), 13-7, in a non-league bout.

The Blackhawks now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Redlands East Valley for a bout on Tuesday, September 2. Citrus Valley will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 48-0 non-league win over Ontario Christian (Ontario, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-0.
