Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) and the visiting Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL), saw Joliet West's flag football team gain a win over Hillcrest by a final score of 24-6.

With the win, Joliet West advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL) to confront the Cougars in a match on Wednesday, August 27. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 0-0.

Coming up next, the Hawks confront the Solorio Sun Warriors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 28. Hillcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Sun Warriors enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 46-0 league loss to Kenwood (Chicago, IL).
