In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Merion Mercy Academy Golden Bears soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Franklin Towne Warriors.
The Golden Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA). The Royals go into the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Upper Darby by Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
