The Murray Tigers smashed the visiting Trigg County Wildcats soccer squad by a margin of 6-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now hold a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Calloway County for a District 2 bout on Thursday, August 28. Murray will face a Lakers team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY). The Lakers record now stands at 6-0.

The Wildcats (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lyon County (Eddyville, KY). The Lyons enter the District 5 contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Lyon County held off Crittenden County (Marion, KY), 5-1, in a league contest.
