In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Northwest Guilford Vikings volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Mount Tabor Spartans.
With the win, Northwest Guilford advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Vikings host Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to face the Grizzlies in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Grizzlies go into the test with a record of 6-1. Oak Grove lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC)
The Spartans now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to R.J. Reynolds for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Mount Tabor will face a Demons team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Demons record now stands at 3-4.
