Florida High School Volleyball - Strawberry Crest can't hold off Newsome

August 26, 2025: Dover, FL 33527

The Newsome Wolves tipped the host Strawberry Crest Chargers volleyball team by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league match.

Next up, the Wolves confront the Bloomingdale Bulls (Valrico, FL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 4. Newsome will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Bulls come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL).

With the loss, Strawberry Crest drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Sickles (Tampa, FL) to clash with the Gryphons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 27. The Gryphons enter the match with a record of 1-0. Sickles won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Riverview (Riverview, FL)
