The Lancaster Mennonite Blazers edged the visiting Berks Catholic Saints soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next, the Blazers face the Lebanon Cedars (Lebanon, PA) in a Lancaster - Lebanon Section 4 game, on Friday, August 29. Lancaster Mennonite will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Cedars enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Northern Lebanon (Fredericksburg, PA).
The Saints (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Tulpehocken (Bernville, PA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Tulpehocken held off Reading (Reading, PA), 4-0, in a non-league contest.
