The Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH) soccer routed the visiting Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV), 7-0 in Tuesday's league contest.
Next, the Jets face the Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) in a Ohio Valley (OVAC) contest, on Thursday, August 28. Union Local will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Seminoles enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV).
The Bruins (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Catholic Central (Steubenville, OH). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Catholic Central was overwhelmed by Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.
