North Carolina High School Soccer - Topsail nudges Cape Fear Academy

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Topsail Pirates soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes.
The Pirates (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Dixon edged South Brunswick (Southport, NC), 3-2, in a non-league test.
The Hurricanes now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Hanover for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. Cape Fear Academy will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.
