The East Vikings edged the visiting Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Vikings now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Henderson for a Ches-Mont - National bout on Thursday, September 4.
With the loss, Marple Newtown moves to 2-2 on the year. The Fightin' tigers host Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA) to encounter the Aces in a Central bout on Tuesday, September 2. The Aces go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Lower Merion won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Friends' Central (Wynnewood, PA)
