Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots (Wilmington, NC), 4-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Greenfield moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Epiphany (New Bern, NC) to confront the Falcons in a NCISAA Coastal Plain outing on Friday, August 29. The Falcons go into the outing with a record of 2-5. Epiphany lost 6-1 in their recent non-league outing against The Oakwood School (Greenville, NC)

Next up, the Patriots confront the Bethel Christian Academy Trojans (Kinston, NC) in a NCCSA AA District 4 - East Region outing, on Thursday, August 28. Wilmington Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Jones (Trenton, NC).
