With the triumph, Peshtigo moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Sturgeon Bay (Sturgeon Bay, WI) to clash with the Clippers in a Packerland test on Thursday, August 28. The Clippers come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Mountaineers now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Kingsford for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27. Iron Mountain will clash with a Flivvers team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Marquette (Marquette, MI). The Flivvers record now stands at 3-2.
