In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Thomas Nelson Generals soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Meade County Green Waves.

The Generals (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY). The Eagles/Banshees enter the District 19 outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Bethlehem was edged by Collins (Shelbyville, KY), 5-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Green Waves confront the Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers (Louisville, KY) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 28. Meade County will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 2-2 non-league Christian Educational Consortium (Louisville, KY).
