Mid Valley Spartans (Throop, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mid Valley moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Valley View (Archbald, PA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Valley View lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA)

Next up, the Knights confront the Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division I outing, on Tuesday, September 2. Scranton will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
