The New Trier Trevians soccer squad scored 6 points and held the host Palatine Pirates to 1 in the Trevians non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Trevians now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Lyons for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30. New Trier will play a Lions squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Palatine moves to 0-1 on the year. The Pirates host Mundelein (Mundelein, IL) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 27. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 0-1. Mundelein lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Jacobs (Algonquin, IL)
