The Smithville Braves edged the visiting Leflore Savages softball team by a margin of 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Braves now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCurtain for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28.
With the loss, Leflore moves to 2-4 on the season. The Savages travel to Earlsboro (Earlsboro, OK) to confront the Wildcats in a Class B battle on Friday, August 29. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 4-6.
