The Alexander Cougars volleyball squad scored 2 points and held the host LaGrange Grangers to 0 in the Cougars non-league win on Tuesday.
Next up, the Cougars face the Langston Hughes Panthers (Fairburn, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 28. Alexander will attempt to advance on its 7-7 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 3-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Griffin (Griffin, GA).
The Grangers (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Heard County (Franklin, GA). The Braves go into the non-league game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Heard County defeated Cass (White, GA), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
