In Tuesday's non-league match, the Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Tooele Buffaloes (Tooele, UT), by a count of 3-0.

Coming up next, the Hawks clash with the Kearns Cougars (Kearns, UT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, August 28. Alta will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Cottonwood (Salt Lake City, UT).

With the loss, Tooele drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Ridgeline (Millville, UT) to clash with the Riverhawks in a 4A Region 11 bout on Thursday, August 28. The Riverhawks come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Ridgeline won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Green Canyon (North Logan, UT)
