The Spring Valley Timberwolves volleyball squad (Huntington, WV), dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY)

With the win, Blazer improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Tomcats travel to Rowan County (Morehead, KY) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 6-0. Rowan County won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY)

The Timberwolves now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cabell Midland for a Mountain State contest on Thursday, August 28. Spring Valley will battle a Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.
