In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Thornton Wildcats.

The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Agricultural Science (Chicago, IL). The Cyclones go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Agricultural Science achieved victory over Julian (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thornton Fractional North for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Thornton will face a Meteors squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Chicago Washington (Chicago, IL). The Meteors record now stands at 1-1.
